Welcome to the Pixel Instrument World! It was born by the mind of some students of the Engineering faculty of University of Pavia. The PI World offer computer services for everyone: personal or commercial internet sites and software development.
We are turning to every user's category: from private who desires a personal web site to share his hobbies with friends, to the company that want enter in the Net World with a dinamyc site that is able to offer powerful services to its customers.

Album rename and sounds (beta)

I've just added two new features: you can rename albums and change their description and when you receive a new message you'll hear a sound. Sound is beta version, so maybe you can have problems and not hear it, but we're working to solve the problem! Stay tuned!
A little new feature

I've added a little new feature for blogs: in the users list page you will see a little icon if the user has added a new post in his blog since your last visit of the blog. Enjoy!

We've improoved the site very much these days and now it works well and it has many new features:
- Photos
Here you can watch all the photos: your photos, new photos (since your last visit), other users' ones, public photos and a random photo. From few days you can also find the new page Hit Parades where you'll find the best photos chosen by users. There are different top 10s:most beautiful photos, most funny photos, most sexy photos, most strange photos and most frightening photos.
Our approach to vote photos is a bit different from the usual way: no votes or stars, but a sentence to choose. You can choose the best sentence that, in your opinion, describe the photo; this will add or remove points to the photo and will change all the top 10s. For example, if you choose a sentence like I like it it will add points for the Most beautiful hit parade and it will remove points for the Most frightening hit parade.
And now, another great news: photo searching! You can search photos writing a sentence in the box. It will search all the words in the title or in the description of the photo. The last news regarding photos is the new beta version of the upload, which will show you how much time left to end the upload. - Albums
Albums were introduced to better organize photos: each photo now must be in one album and cannot be placed in more than one. When you click on an user you'll see his/her albums instead of his/her photos directly. Another useful feature is the possibility to change authorizations of all the photo in an album with a single click: in the album page you can make all the photos private, public or add/remove sharing of all the photos with a group. - Friends
Regarding friends there's only a little change: now friends is a special private group. You can't remove this group, but you can add or remove the users you want. This change has been made to simplify sharing photos with your friends. - Messages
Now you can send messages and comments to other users and to all the photos! Messages are private: you can send a mesasge by clicking on Send a message to... in the user's page, or by clicking on My messages. There you will also find or your messages (both sent or received). Messages will blink when you receive a new message!
In the page My comments you'll find all the comments to your photos. It will blink too when you receive a new comment to your photos.
The page My blog, at last, allow you to write your own blog. Blogs are public. From today you can also send and receive comments to blogs! You can also write in different colors, with different fonts and so on in your blog. - Settings
A simple new feature in settings: you can change your profile and choose your real name, where you live and change your language, at this moment from English and Italian.

We're proud to present our new photo sharing software: Giocondo! You can visit the official site, http://www.giocondo.eu, to begin to share photos with friends and all the World! It's free!
This software is now under development: if you find any bugs, got questions or much more, don't hesitate to contact us to expose the problem. We hope to finish Giocondo's development as soon as possible!
